A large and rare pair of gilt bronze and cut crystal chandeliers.

On a circular white marble base, two patinated bronze vestals support obelisks carved into daggers on their heads.

Three descending rows of plumes with falling branches and garlands of tassels, and a circlet with three light arms, emerge from the central shaft.

Very well preserved.

Sweden, circa 1790-1795.
